Amazing Week!

We had a great first week of preschool!  Next week we will continue our social emotional lessons on making friends and being good friends and may also do a few apple lessons and activities.

IMPORTANT DATE!

September 23rd is picture day at preschool.  Our photographer will arrive at 9:00 to begin taking class and individual pictures.  Order forms will come with your proofs when they are ready.  :)

We are blessed and excited to be teaching and learning with your precious children.

Graduation Details

GRADUATION!

Dearest families,

Our preschool graduation will be on Friday, May 17^th at 6:00 PM at Grace Church.  Please bring your child to our classroom no later than 5:45.  Three and Four year old students are both welcome.

 We will also have an art gallery set up for your viewing enjoyment.  ;)  The students have been working on some amazing masterpieces…don’t miss out!

We have a parent who has very kindly asked to bring Picket Fence Creamery Ice Cream to our celebration and I was delighted!  If every family could donate their favorite topping for our Sundaes at the graduation, that would be wonderful.  Anything that will not spoil before May 17^th, you may donate starting next week.  If you will be bringing fresh fruit, please send it to class with your child on Thursday, May 16^th.  THANK YOU!

·         Due to a lot of confusion with the date for our Mother’s/Mama’s Day tea, we have decided to cancel it and focus on graduation.  We still love you and will have something special planned to surprise you with.  J

WORMS

Well, since we can't avoid them, we might as well learn about them! Our new study is all about worms, and boy is it FUN! Today we were scientists and used all of our senses to make observations about worms and then recorded them. We are looking forward to making a worm farm in the classroom tomorrow.

More Preschool smiles!

I could say it over and over again, I am going to miss these sweet faces. I pray that this week during kindergarten round-up, my sweet children are confident, happy and successful. I am beyond proud of all of you!

We had a short week continuing our farm unit and studying about chickens. I have a feeling with the loud frogs in our preschool pond, we will be switching gears soon. I have a ton of frog ideas!

Next week, I hope to fill the sensory table with soil and worms as we look at the letter W and make a worm farm! I LOVE watching those little hands dig in the soil and bring out those big and beautiful worms! So fun! If you would like to donate a bag of soil for all our exploring with worms and planting seeds now that spring is here, we would appreciate it. We will also be making W's with rubber worms used for fishing, if you would like to donate these...we will need plenty. Thank you!
